Sometimes
I’ve tried to argue God into someone’s life. It never works. Certainly
God can
work
through me and
use my words to encourage someone to know Him but it’s only by the
power of the Holy Spirit that brings a person into a relationship
with Christ.
Hey
this is Debbie Griffith with Everyday Matters.
And
often when my conversation with an unbeliever becomes frustrating
it’s because their argument isn’t with me but with God. It is a
deep love of Christ not a deep love of any religion or church that
qualifies a person as a Christian. Christianity without Christ and a
relationship with Him is just another religion.
Trust
me, unless God is working through us it will make no difference
whatsoever how passionate we are in wanting that person to know
Jesus. I think following John 3:21 is an effective way to minster
because when we’re working and living in truth others are bound to
see the light of Him and that’s something that can’t be
argued…everyday.
